Day SIX
End of day 6 - 122 miles. Finished in the sun at 5.35 at Tain next to Dornoch.
Gilly is getting soft. His community service trainees are getting to him!
Only 80 miles to go tomorrow Gilly said we have to do it with only one pedal no food and blindfolded.

Day FIVE
142 miles today Started from Kilmarnock and now just outside Fort William, 3 down in a crash but everyone ok (We have had 6 on the tarmac up to now). Wet all morning but brightened up in afternoon All still smiling but some having difficulty sitting. Pass the sudacrem is a popular phrase!

DAY FOUR
126 miles today with a 25 mile per hour head wind! The team still averaged 17 mile per hour today though. All riders ended the day ok.

Someone forgot to fill the support vehicle (Billy!).

DAY THREE
Met all the guys at BLESMA Lancaster, and met up with Peter King British Cycling Executive Director doing LEJOG for prostate cancer. Lance Armstrong sponsored him $1000!
We covered 185 miles today. Leominster to Shap All doing well.

DAY TWO
Second day in the saddle.
2nd day 8 1/2 hours in the saddle and 145 miles further on the journey. The Team are past Hereford and have turned in for the night.


DAY ONE
The team sets off.
Today our intrepid team set off on the 1 st day riding on this gruelling journey. 152 miles and a little detour costing the team 2 hours!


Friday 22nd May
The Team sets off for Lands End.
This morning the riders and rest of the support group are travelling to Lands End to catch up with their beloved bikes which started the journey yesterday.
Thursday 21st May
The Team pack the mini-buses.
The team make final preparations and packup the mini-buses with their kit and bikes. Ready for the off to Lands End early in the morning.
